OLVG - Rietveld Chairs

The Onze Lieve Vrouwen Gasthuis - Amsterdam East and West

Planq collected the nurse and doctor's suits for the OLVG hospital in Amsterdam and fiberized them for new products. Both barstools and chairs from the Rezign collection, the Unusual Barstool and Unusual chair. But also, custom products, like an acoustic felt from recycled clothing and sustainable Rietveld chairs.

In this project, the Rietveld Red Blue Chair is a symbol as a gift to reflect and thank the resigning board members who have realized the merger between the Sint Lucas Andreas Hospital and the Onze Lieve Vrouwen Gasthuis.

The primary colors are the primary colors of the hospitals. Green of the Sint Lucas Andreas Hospital and the blue of the OLVG. The 13 oak slats form the construction in the fusion, and the seat and back are made of recycled textile and plastic. And forms the support on a substantiated construction.
