Thé office that goes hand in hand with nature.
Adyen is the platform that makes global payments easier and faster. It was founded in 2006 by a group of entrepreneurs. The aim was to build a new payment technology, that enabled businesses to grow. With the suitable name Adyen, which means “starting over'‘ in Surinamese.
Not only helped Adyen other businesses to grow, but the company itself has also grown rapidly worldwide. Time for a new office in the heart of Amsterdam, in which sustainability, recycling, and circularity were of great importance. In terms of the building as well as the interior, the results show it truly bore fruit. An office that goes hand in hand with nature, designs and natural hues.
For Adyen we made loads of custom-made products, such as boardroom tables, extra large Bine Tables made of bamboo wood, and dott stools. But standard furniture like the Rebel Chairs as well.

.Boardroom Tables
For the new office, we were asked to create new custom-made tables. From large board room tables to smaller side tables. Finished with the Rezign® Veneer Army and Flax, green lacquer, and the usage of bamboo wood gives rise to a circular, green, and above all a unique interior.
Various board rooms are furnished with 6-meter oval tables all in unique styles. The first one is finished with Rezign® Veneer Army, whereas the other table is made of Rezign® Flax, finished with a green lacquer. These custom-made boardroom tables are a good example of how we bridge the gap between contemporary design and environmental consciousness. For example, these eye-catchers have an eye for the future, are practical, and are huge space savers. While simultaneously the table offers space for more people.
Furthermore, we created small and larger Bine Tables but of course slightly different. A few Bine Tables are finished with an army top with green lacquered legs, fully lacquered and to stay in the sustainable solutions; some Bine Tables are made of Bamboo. Fun fact; bamboo isn’t actually a tree. It’s grass, and one of the most persistent and versatile grasses on the planet. It grows exceptionally fast and It’s naturally renewable and requires little maintenance . This is because bamboo self-regenerates from its roots. We only could say that the bamboo Bine Tables are a perfect sustainable solution for this natural-based interior.
Last but not least, because the small side tables are worth mentioning as well. The Cero Side Table in oak wood is shown to advantage in the lounge corner with a breathtaking view over Amsterdam. Not to mention the custom-made Dott Stools, which are perfect to exhibit plants. Did you know that plants increases productivity, boost creativity, and reduces stress? Good reason to fill the office with plants!
.Very rebellious
Apart from all the tables, we also delivered various Rebel Chairs. As the Rebels can be customized, the chairs and barstools are truly shown to advantage in any interior. The light, beautiful canteen is furnished with green Rebels made of old army clothing and green powder-coated frames, as well as white frames in combination with seatings made of flax. Not to mention that these steel-framed chairs are stackable, which makes them easy to relocate.
